Reliable data to help farmers market managers demonstrate their impacts
Maintaining funding for local and regional food system initiatives requires reliable data to demonstrate their impacts—data specific to individual farmers. The Farmers Market Metrics Project is a three-way partnership between farmers markets, local government, and a university to improve the capacity of the markets in the Minneapolis–St. Paul Metro region help market managers quantify their contribution to the regional food system. FM360 provides scalable, adaptable data collection tools and data that allow market managers to customize metrics and reports for existing partners and prospective funders.
